Disclaimer*	DARK STANCE IMPERIAL NAVY Terms of Agreement JOINING THE DSIN The DSIN has been designed several years ago, as a Roleplay Elite Imperial Navy Fleet. This is bound to a few important points such as taking care of every single member's behaviour. We aim at earning the respect from other players on the server, helping each other, and give people the oportunity to enjoy the Imperial side of Jump to Lightspeed (the space extension of Star Wars Galaxies). What will the DSIN provide to the pilot ? - A serious Academy training delivered by experienced pilot instructors, overviewing all the different sides of the game (from the basic flight knowledge, to advanced PvP training). - Some help in the difficult training missions included in the in-game space pilot career. But don't misunderstand this: the pilot instructors are not here to launch and complete your mission, nor are they here to "grind xp" while you're comfortably sitting in a capital ship's turret. We truely beleive that you'll learn more by yourself, than if your officers do the job for you. Those who were "trained" by someone doing grind and mission for them, ended up with a "Master Pilot" or "Ace" badge, though they still lack an important part of knowledge and true pilot skill (meaning the way you fly with your joystick or mouse ... nothing linked to the game mechanics), and after all they will always need help. In the DSIN, we will help you to become an independant and efficient pilot. What will the DSIN expect from its pilots ? - first of all Respect : this is but a game! We're playing characters, and we're here to have fun, not troubles. Since you respect the other players, they should respect you. If they don't, then just ignore them and if needed report them to SOE's team, this is their job, not ours. - still about respect but within the DSIN : while on duty, we ask our pilots to respect their officers and the whole chain of commands, respect the image of the Imperial Navy, and never spoil it. Wear the uniform and/or the TIE flightsuit is a mark of respect. - we also expect our pilot students to be patient. As we aim to deliver some quality training, sometimes teaching takes time. - obviously we want our pilots to be aligned to the Imperial Faction (this on the ground side) For the pilot career, we allow Imperial Pilots as well as Freelancer ones, as long as they're not linked to the Rebel Alliance in any way. - we expect our pilots to be involved and creative, as much as can be. The DSIN is a player's community, where the whole thing depends on every single member of it in both sides good or bad.
