Here is a guide to the Doctrine taught at the Imperial academy. These are the main rules every pilot will follow when operating in this Navy.

Article 1 : General Imperial Doctrine

Item A: The Tarkin Doctrine
The Tarkin Doctrine was published by the now late grand moff tarkin. It was later adopted into the Imperial Doctrine after his death. It states that rather than spending massive amounts of credits trying to keep up with the standing armies of the rebels, The empire should simply build weapons of massive destructive power and use the fear of these weapons to deter even the early stages of organized rebelious sedition.

Item B. The Doctrine Of pre-emptive Defense
This doctrine states that the empire should attack and neutralize any perceived threats to stability and order well before they have the ability or oppurtunity to attack even if they have shown no signs of agressive campaigning.

Item C. The Doctrine Of Human Supremacy
This doctrine states that humans as a race are superior to all others and thus destined to rule over the galaxy. Alien races must prove their equality in order ro be spared from subjection to slavery or invluntary servitude, for unless such proof can be presented equality is not assumed. If proof cannot be produced then these individuals are expected to assume their roled as servants of humans.

Item D. The Doctrine of Individual Supremacy of combat
This doctrine states that the imperial warrior should be equipped, trained, and prepared to be far more than a match for several of his enemies. This system operates in the intrests of destroying the enemy tactics using strength in numbers.

Article 2 Naval Doctrine

Item A The Doctrine of Naval Mandate
The navy's role in the function of the imperial military is to Provide air superiority for Imperial intrests in the galaxy by either attacking or seizing any ship deemed suspicous by a commanding officer of a Sector group or Capital Vessel. The navy is also to Provide routine patrols of space to maintain order and to escort important VIP\'s and shipments through hostile sectors. It is also an important part of Naval ideals to engage known enemy space strongholds in an effort to lessen attacks on un prepared imperial units. This cooincides with article 1 item b.

Item B The Doctrin of Imperial Military Cooperation
This states that it is the Job of the Different factions of the imperial military to cooperate, not to fight amongst themselves. They must work together strategically by using their different strengths to achive a common goal. As it pertains to the Navy The navy is expected to give air support to army units as well as tranport troops across the galaxy. Without the navy the army would have no means of Travel.

Article 3 Imperial Officer Doctrine (Rules and ideals of the Imperial Naval Officer Academy Graduate)

Item A The Doctrine Of solid chain of command
The Imperial Military, most specifially the navy. Operates under a strict chain of command that may in NO WAY be broken save by the privisions given below. An officer of a Higher rank will always command those under him unless in the case of the undermentioned doctrines of when that pilot has been designated as under the command of another officer. Officers may order other officers provided that they outrank them and that ther orders are in the best intrests of the Empire and the Navy as a whole. A lesser officer or enlistedmen must follow the orders of his superiors without question but may appeal the order afterwards to a higher ranking officer

Item B. The Doctrine Of Prior Orders
No Officer ,except those of the Admiralty, May order another officer to depart from prior orders given to him by another officer.except for under the provisions below. Rank in this case is irrelavant for this doctrine overrules rank itself in the prevention of conflict of intrests between officers commanding subordinates.

Item C. The Doctrine of emergency powers
Emergency powers may be granted by any officer by his or her request provided that he is the next highest ranking officer in a detail, and that the commanding officer is either incapacitated or missing in action. The officer who assumed emergency powers may assume temporary command of the unit until the crisis subsides in which case he must consult the highest ranking officer he can get in touch with on what to do next. Any officer envoking the Emergency powers doctrine is subject to full responsibilities of the Unit including any courtm martials which may be appropriate given the nature of his or her actions while in command

Item D. The Doctrine Of Supreme Order
Any admiral can give any non admiralty officer orders which overrule any Prior orders provided that they do not conflict with the orders of a higher admiral.

Item E. The Doctrine of Logical Placment of dependence
States that an imperial officer Should place dependence based always on logical fact and not on illogical trust in loyalty. A good officer always makes sure he depends only on the officer who has less known reason to betray him than to follow his orders.

Item F. The Doctrine Of mission Detail
This doctrine gives any imperial officer the right to assemble a detail of lesser ranking officers to complete a mission set forth by command or personal observation. provided the following three premises the nature and difficulty of the mission have been sufficiently evaluated and considered The detail has sufficent strength to achieve the Mission based on orignial assesment enough ships and resources are left behind to carry out other duties and obligations

Item G. The doctrine of Imperial command vs. Regional Property
Any officer of the DSIN who commands a Base which is on the property of a regional Governor must have the proper registration with that regional Governor (Must be a member of the DS guild)

Item H. The Doctrine of Salutation and uniformity
All pilots shall wear proper imperial Uniform appropriate of their rank at all times while on duty (no accesories or weapons unless by order). They should also salute all naval personell of a higher rank on sight and then wait to be saluted by their superior before going at ease (reasonably dont wait forever if someone is just afk)

Item I. The doctrine of Report and dismisal
All pilots should report for duty in proper uniform in person or through a comm message (tell) whenever a higher ranking member Has established contact (logged on). Only when they are given the stand down command should they go about their buisness. When reporting they should salute an stand at attention. a pilot may NOT leave when on duty until dismissed by the highest ranking officer of the detail.
